Going to Poland

I'm up to my eyeballs trying to get prepared for our trip. Felicity and I are going to Poland tomorrow night where I will be speaking at a worship conference in Warsaw. I'm really looking forward to it, and I know it's going to be great, but right now I'm up against the deadlines for preparing my talks. It hasn't helped that some of my day got chewed up by trying to pull some video files from a dvd, convert them into mpegs and then get them into a PowerPoint presentation. It took ages, and then although they play in Media player, they won't play in stupid PowerPoint. PCs make me cross.

Anyway, that was just a little rant to let off steam. Look out for some photos here from Poland in the near future, and please pray for us, and for the conference organisers, Scripture Union.

Oh yes, and the weather. Here it's been 37 degrees C - that's 100 for you Americans, and there the forecast is for rain and 15 degree (59 F) temperatures. I don't even own a rain coat...

Dude... I thought all Englishmen have rain coats and brawelies, ah alas, in Egypt... they are fairly impractical items to tote around huh? :-) Just remember to layer and ENJOY THE RAIN. There's something almost magical in the sound of a good hard rain. Gods' blessing always.
